BAPTISM
In the Bible, whenever someone believed the gospel of Kingdom, they were immediately baptized (Acts 8:12).
There was no delay, 4-week class, or waiting for a special “Baptism Sunday”. Being baptized in Jesus name was so vital to the conversion of believers in the Bible that it would take place the same day or night (Acts 2:41; Acts 16:33).
So many people have a desire to live godly, but are still carrying guilt, shame, hurts, and offenses from past failures. The Bible describes the incredible power of baptism (Colossians2:12).
When you are baptized into Jesus Christ, all of your past sins are washed away (Acts2:38).
Not only are your sins removed,
but every sin that has been committed against you is also cleansed.
The old is gone and buried, and the new life comes forth
(Romans 6:4).
galations 3:27
"for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ."
Jesus cleanses you of your past and sets you free from all chains and hindrances.
There is true freedom found through baptism into Jesus Christ. You take on His righteousness, name, and
power through baptism (Galatians 3:27).
What a joy it is to be baptized and to put on Jesus Christ! This is why we will have baptismal tanks set up to immediately baptize anyone whowants new life in Christ. Acts 22:16 states:
"And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord."
